I know by now you are probably waiting for me to post pictures of me in the middle of a jungle just camping... Nope... It's a little less scary for those that are not outdoorsy. Our off-campus accomodation office organised a trip to Addo Elephant Park this one day. And ofcourse your girl could not miss it. Am a camper at heart so anything close is just as good if I can not get to camp yet.

Elephant peeping?!!!
We got to see the wildlife in the park, mostly the elephants, but it was both relaxing and exciting too. I was getting to go to another part of the Eastern Cape that I could. By the way, this park has a shopping stop before you can even begin the tour.

Amazing things they have in this shop... Trust me... You will end up leaving with at least one thing. There's also a cafeteria so you will be sorted food wise too. We, however, as a group had come with our meats to roast as there is a roast area for any and everyone that wants to chill and connect with those close to them. Yep, we had our mouths watering and stomachs full by the time we were heading back...
But my point in all of this is that nature is relaxing. It doesn't matter where you decide to go, hiking in the mountains, camping outdoors, jogging in the park nearby... It has a soothing factor to it that we can't explain in words or articulate no matter how much we try...

I gotta say this though I had amazing housemates... we did quite a bit together while we were in the same house...
Signing out with love...
Till the next post....
